The not-for-profirt Dallas radio and television station provided covers thegreater Dallas-Fort Worth area. Under KERA’se umbrella, 91.7 FM will switch to a public radio music forma with the content catering to adults who are in searcjh of diverse music in the areaof folk, acoustic, worlx music, alternative, indie rock and “This acquisition allows KERA to significantly advance its mission and strategic direction by increasing public medisa services for the people of North Texas,” said Mary Anne KERA’s president & CEO.
“The new station will be a public radio music formag programmed with the North Texas audiencwein mind.
